Seems like someone from McDonalds hacked the IIT Kanpur website….not once but twice in 2 days.
And I must say, the hacker has a great sense of humor. Initially he announced that McDonald’s has bought IIT Kanpur for 40 billion $ and the next say he increases it to 80 billion. Well one thing is good that the hacker is most probably a Indian as he also says that we are against reservation.
As of now the website is again down. The Computer Center authorities must be having some sleepless nights. Though it’s good that some hacker thinks the site of IITK important enough to be hacked!! Otherwise all they hack is MIT’s website.
The screenshot below is of the first time the site was hacked.
