The flamboyant Vijay Mallya is at it again. This time with a deal to acquire 26% in neighbor Capt. Gopinath’s Air Deccan for Rs. 550 crore. And that too after Capt. Gopinath said publicly to Mallya that he is not for sale. Probably, Gopinath forgot that besides owning a airline Mallya also owns the UB group.
Lately this man has surely picked pace and he is doing it in his own style. Be it appearing on Koffee with Karan or throwing a formula 1 party at Monaco. He is also official sponsor for the Toyota Formula 1 team.
Besides don’t forget that he is a honorary member of Parliament. Just a fortnight ago he acquired Scottish whiskey giant Whyte and Mackay’s.
